The European Tour heads back to Asia this week for the Maybank Championship.
The course is Saujana Golf and Country Club. It’s been used recently over the past two editions of this event. It’s a short, par 72 with Bermuda greens.
The main theme of the event is dealing with heat. That will be the case again this week as the forecast calls for temps in the upper 90s all week. They will also have to dodge thunderstorms throughout the week. Don’t be surprised to see some stop-and-start action.
You can have a look at the Fantasy Golfanac for some past quotes from the event.
We also see the return of Julian Suri this week, after a long injury layoff.
Let’s dive into some past results to see who might fit the course.
