Rondo is a Fantasy God…

RondoWell maybe not quite yet, but Rondo has been playing like a man possessed lately.  Teammates (KG, Pierce, and Ray Allen) think Rondo should be an All-Star, and with the way Rondo has been playing lately its hard to argue with them.  Last night Rondo took over the game against Utah and willed the Celtics to a win, ending with a career high 25 points to along with 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.  Over the past month (14 games) Rondo is averaging 13.9 points, 7.9 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 2.6 steals all on 55.6% shooting from the field with 76.4% from the free throw line.  Fantasy owners have to be extremely happy with the return on their investent in Rondo, especially in the last month, Rondo has added the first triple-double of his career and a career high in points over that 14 game span.  The knock on Rondo has been his free throw shooting in the past (66% this year), but it seems over the past month Rondo has begun to find his touch from the line.  Add the new found touch from the line to the experience he gained from winning the NBA Championship last year and that only means good things for the Celtics and his fantasy owners alike.  Rondo is a guy all fantasy owners should add to their fantasy wish list.
