No, that is not a typo, Domonic Brown is the first and only person I have ever seen spell their name with an ‘o’ rather than an ‘i’. I’m not here to judge the way his parents chose to spell his name, but I will judge his future fantasy impact. To put it bluntly, the Phillies should be looking for someone/anyone to take Jayson Werth or Raul Ibanez from them ASAP. Domonic Brown is a legitimate superstar in the making, and will be much cheaper on the wallet…
Bats: Lefty
Height: 6’5″
Type of Player. Domonic Brown is a true five-tool player. If you were to scout him, it may take you weeks of scouting to find a flaw in his game. Even then, it would just be nitpicking. He has the explosive 30/30 potential of a Grady Sizemore type player. He is basically a slimmed down, 40 pound less, more athletic version of Ryan Howard.
Constant Improvement. Since 2006, Brown has improved his SLG % every year. In 2006, Brown Slugged a measly .265 while playing Rookie Ball. Currently, in 2010, Brown in Slugging .608 after 80 games of AA/AAA ball. Brown is the perfect example of “growing into your body”. Before this year, most would have capped Brown’s home run ceiling at 25 or 30. Now, those same people would say 35 Home Runs is well within reach.
Citizen’s Bank Park. The Phillies home park is quite the bandbox, and will only help boost Brown’s fantasy impact. Fellow lefties, Ryan Howard and Chase Utley, have no problem hitting 30+ Homers year after year.

| Intangibles | A- | Not a lot of successful 6'5" hitters can hit for average in the major leagues. |
| Overall | 71 out 80 | Super Star potential |
ETA. There are lots of Jayson Werth trade rumors swirling around. Whether Werth is sleeping with Chase Utley’s wife or not, it would be smart to open up a corner outfield spot for Domonic Brown as soon as possible. Based on his .364/.390/.636 triple-slash line after 15 AAA games, Brown will be worth a pickup in ALL leagues whenever he does get the nod. In keeper leagues, you can put him in the same category as Heyward, Strasburg, Alvarez, Santana, Posey… keeper gold.
