Performance in No-Cut Events

The Fantasy Golfanac looks at all events where golfers are guaranteed to play four rounds (barring a WD).

Guaranteed four rounds can give players a different mindset because there is less pressure over the first two days but also more incentive to play your best over the weekend, even if you find yourself in the middle of the pack or lower.

* Minimum 30 rounds to qualify. Stats are time-weighted and adjusted to the strength of competition.

Q. Again, this is the three events, part of the PGA TOUR fall season events. How important is it for you and the other guys, as well, to take advantage of these events out here in Asia, especially if you’re from Asia, as well. How important are these events for the FedExCup race, as well?
C.T. PAN:
It’s crucial. You’ve got these no-cut events and you can just go out there and play your game and you don’t need to worry about anything else. I think that helps the mind-set a lot and that will help a lot of players to perform their best, as well, including me. -2018 Sheshan International

Q. Talk about taking advantage of being here and being guaranteed four rounds.
NICK WATNEY:
Yeah, I mean, it’s great. Anytime you don’t have to worry about a cut or any of that stuff is great. We’ve got eight rounds over here and looking forward to kind of building some momentum for next year. -2018 TPC Kuala Lumpur

Q. Leish, is it true that you’ve won a 30-man event before?
MARC LEISHMAN:
Yeah, I won the Nedbank in 2015, yeah, by six. That’s good stuff to put in the memory bank. Hopefully I can make this number two. -2017 East Lake
