Bing’s new Visual Search feature is way too good. The proof is in the photos.
It is still in Beta Mode, and their database of photo collections is pretty slim to what I’m sure it will become. However, they do have photo collections of NBA, MLB, NHL and NFL Players. Using the list of NBA Players, I decided to take a look at the highest paid players in the NBA. I categorized them based on what College they attended. Instead of listing every single College, here are the College’s, in no particular order, that have at least ten current NBA players:
Duke – 14 Players
Median Salary: $4.5 Million
UCLA – 14 Players
Median Salary: $2.8 Million
Connecticut – 13 Players
Median Salary: $4.5 Million
North Carolina – 13 Players
Median Salary: $2.7 Million
Arizona – 10 Players
Median Salary: $5.5 Million
Note: There may be some slight error’s in the salaries that Bing has on file. For example, they initially had Mike Bibby earning $1.3 Million, while HoopsHype reports that he will be making $6.2 Million this season.
Conclusion: Arizona Wildcat alumni are making bank in the NBA, with the highest median and mean salary of all five schools observed.
If you were Rudy Gay, how would you feel knowing your Rookie teammate Hasheem Thabeet is making more money than you?
Dan Gadzuric at $6.7 Million? Somebody really screwed up there.
