It came as no surprise that NeNe and Carmelo Anthony had monster weeks last week for fantasy teams across the nation. If you read last week’s preview, you would have took note that the Nuggets had a very easy schedule, and they capitalized on it. On a per-game basis, the Magic and Jazz players should be fantasy gold this week, as they have cupcake schedules. However, the Orlando Magic only play two games, and the Jazz play three. If you’re looking for the best overall fantasy players for Week 6, then take a look at the Wizards, Mavericks, Pacers and Raptors. All four of those teams play four games, and those four games are against rather easy opponents to earn fantasy points against.

Players that are Worth a Look in Week Six
Mike Dunleavy (51% Owned) – Mike Dunleavy finally returned to action last week. In his first game back he scored 13 points in 15 minutes. He is expected to see limited action initially, but is definitely worth a flyer, especially considering Granger has been playing through a lot of nagging injuries. Dunleavy can provide a much needed sidekick to Granger, to alleviate some of the pressure.
Robin Lopez (8% Owned) – Before his preseason injury, Robin Lopez had “Breakout Season” written all over his forehead. Now, it’s going to be tough to find minutes with Channing Frye lighting it up from downtown. However, when things start going sour in Phoenix, which they will, Robin Lopez may be the beneficiary of a lineup shakeup. For the time being, you’ll have to settle with the sporatic block parties that are sure to be thrown by Mr. Lopez.
Tyrus Thomas (40% Owned) – The word on Tyrus is that he is still set to return in early December. It may not be this week that he returns, but a weeks wait is definitely worth it to acquire a Top 70 player. Next week may be too late.
Trade ‘Em While You Can
Ersan Ilyasova – Ilyasova’s owned percentage raised from 17% to 45% in one week. If you read this column last week, then you should be one of the lucky 45%. Ilyasova was, and has been a monster for a couple weeks now. However, it is important to note that Mbah a Moute is set to return this week, surely cutting into some of Ilyasova’s minutes. Now is the time to accept any reasonable offers for the suddenly popular Buck.
NeNe Hilario – NeNe finally stayed healthy last year, and enjoyed a breakout season because of it. Take a look at the # of games played for NeNe in the previous four seasons (16, 64, 1, 55). If you are a NeNe owner, you’re like an overweight man walking on thin ice right now. I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’.
