Tis’ the Season to be jolly. That is exact philosophy FanDuel has taken. Instead of going dormant for the holidays, FanDuel is upping the ante this Holiday Season. Someone must have received their Christmas Bonus early over at FanDuel because they are certainly in the giving mood.
First, they are running a $500 NFL Contest this weekend. This is free to enter, and pays out the Top 9 finishers. That is $300 more than their usual $200 Friends of FanDuel Freerolls. It doesn’t stop there, though. To kick off the NBA Season, FanDuel is running a $1,000 NBA Freeroll that pays out the Top 70 finishers. Yup, that is a four digit prize pool. Not one hundred dollars… one thousand dollars. Find out how to enter below.

UPDATE: Below is the Basketball Team I entered. The big question mark is Klay Thompson. The rookie out of Wazzou is already in Mark Jackson’s good graces and when Steph Curry tweaked his ankle in Tuesdays preseason game, I had to roll the dice with Thompson for $3,000 FanDuel Dollars. I think Rip Hamilton tries to prove he’s not washed up, and starts the season very strong. Brandon Bass should get some solid run in Boston, especially with Jeff Green out of the equation. Bass is a great hustle guy who could end with 8 points, 8 rebounds, a couple steals, a couple blocks on any given night. I thought Brandon Haywood was relatively cheap, since Tyson Chandler is no longer in his way. Haywood should be a rebound-hog.

I know that there is usually a limit of one freeroll per person at a time. Do you know if this will apply here as well?
Yup. These are both one entry per person. As far as site-wide, I would suggest entering the NFL contest first to be safe, since NFL games are on Saturday. However, I was able to enter both contests with no problems.
