Some players refuse to wear these new helmets that provide better protection, and for good reason. I think we’ll see a small group of players adopt this helmet style, but the majority of players will prefer fashion over health.

I feel like this is Photoshopped, but it’s not. That throws my brain for a loop.
In reality, though, modern NFL helmets look a lot bigger than those flimsy leather things they wore in the 40s. Maybe David Wright’s just a trendsetter…?
I think the MLB should make it mandatory to wear these helmets, not because of the obvious health issues, but for the comic relief.
