California Course Horses

When the PGA TOUR takes to the California coasts, you know its going to be great weather (when the rain holds off) and a good chance of poa annua greens. You will find a high correlation between California performance and performance on poa annua.

Taking a look at California stroke-play events since the start of the 2013-14 season, these golfers have performed the best. The second list is for specialists, which compares their output to their expected strokes gained over that same time period. Finally, we have a look at guys that have historically dropped down a level when playing in the Golden State.
