Sure this time you have a fancy new toy to throw to (Percy Harvin) and an absolute stud in the backfield with you in AP, but that won’t be enough to make you look like even an average QB in the NFL. The media already talks entirely too much about the NFL, why did you have to go and give them a reason to talk about the NFL every waking moment. Note to the sports media, there are other sports in America that are not the NFL, shockingly some even have regular season games going on.
There was a chance that in a few years the Packers fans would forget about your Jets experiment, or at least forgive you for that. Now you go to one of their division rivals and get to play them twice this year, good luck. Every NFL fan hates you, the Vikings fans don’t even like you. What even makes you think you still have the skills to compete in the NFL? Your last five games last year were a total embarrassment.
