I hate to yell, but I have a relationship with Brett Cecil that appears to be budding into a full-out man crush. This Toronto Blue Jays prospect will be making his Major League debut today versus the Cleveland Indians. This will be a tough debut for the southpaw, as the Indians are currently sporting the 3rd highest Team OPS against lefties. However, a potential Sunday start against the Oakland A’s “offense” is looking rather delightful.
I highly advise picking up Cecil in any leagues (if he’s still available). Check out my prospect spotlight on Cecil for a deeper analysis. Basically I envision Francisco Liriano 2.0, here is my prediction for 2009:
