Midseason All-MVC Teams

MVC LogoThe Missouri Valley Conference has been completely turned upside down this year. It has two teams picked to finish in the bottom third of the conference, Drake and Illinois State, as its current leaders. Teams from the Valley that have seen recent success in the NCAA Tournament, Bradley and Southern Illinois, have themselves positioned 7th and 8th in the conference. The Drake Bulldogs are 8-0 in the conference and riding 15-game win streak, which suggests that they may have some players that are performing well this year, and that suggestion is correct. They have two of the leagues top three scorers in their starting lineup in Josh Young and Leonard Houston. The Missouri Valley has started to prove that it can play with the power conferences and the top teams in the Valley this year are no exception, they can play with anybody around. The Valley is lacking in impact freshman compared to the other conferences, but it makes up for it with quality three-point shooters. Here is our midseason All-MVC teams.
